After 25 years at a blue-collar job, John was ready for a career change. He wanted additional computer training, and was told to look into Winter Park Tech. "Everyone recommended Winter Park Tech as the place to go for computer training."
Two years in the Computer Systems Technology training provided John with daily challenges. He describes the program as "very positive and very challenging. The courses that I took were more difficult than anything I’ve ever done before. I’ve worked with some of the smartest people I’ve ever met."
At Winter Park Tech, John learned a great deal of "appreciation for educators and the positive environment they create. I build computers," he says, "but that pales in comparison to 'building people'."
John now has a great job with a major company, and "I'm getting paid to do what I love." Winter Park Tech helped him get there by providing "the tools, the experience, and most importantly, the educators to help anyone succeed. All that is required is for the student to make a genuine effort. Do this and you can’t lose."
