SPECIAL NOTICE
Parent notification of supervision
It has come to our attention that many of our students arrive at school prior to 8 a.m. for daytime students and 6 p.m. for evening students. Florida Statute 1003.31 requires that the school system provide supervision for students 30 minutes before the school day begins and 30 minutes after the school day ends. Our official school start time is 8 a.m. for daytime students and 6 p.m. for evening students. Students should not arrive to school before 7:30 a.m. for daytime students and 5:30 p.m. for evening students. Continued supervision will be provided until 3:15 p.m. for daytime students and until 9:30 p.m. for evening students.
The safety of students represents the primary concern. Our goal is to ensure that all of our students arrive and leave school safely and that adequate supervision is available during their arrival and departure. Thank you for your cooperation in playing your role to help our school team provide a safe and positive learning environment for all students.
