The Avalon Campus is a satellite center of Winter Park Tech. Orange County Public Schools was excited to open the doors to this new campus in August 2007 since it was the first campus opened in almost 30 years!

The new state-of-the-art facility currently offers four career training programs: Pharmacy Technician, Patient Care Technician, Nails Specialty and Facials Specialty and a wide array of computer, health and academic classes. Not only does Avalon Tech serve adults and businesses of East Orlando/Orange County, we also offer dual enrollment opportunities in our career training programs for many Orange County high schools.

After identifying the training needs of East Orlando/Orange County, future expansion needs for Avalon Campus were established. With the growth of this area including the opening of the UCF medical school, VA Hospital and the Burnham Institute for Medical Research, Avalon Campus will be ready to assist with training needs. When the facility is converted to a full-time technical training center in August 2009, we will expand our program offerings to areas such as: Home Technology Integration, Digital Media, Biotechnology, Massage Therapy, Gaming and much more!
